A Few Words From Mark Kates...

A place of legend...mine and Rick Harte's being lugging the Lyres bass amp through the streets to the train station at 2am in 1984. Seems like other than architecture not much has changed. We were at the truly Cordial Hotel with a lovely view of a massive construction site. Gig was at the truly legendary Paradiso, and The Rapture played earlier downstairs, helping fill our gig. Great show, well played, enthusiastic audience, and thanks to The Rapture for the ouifee.
